Education, Nonprofit, and Public Sector
Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Government Cloud, run by a team of three with procurement rules and a reporting deadline. Laminar maps the applicant, constituent, or grant lifecycle as it actually runs, reads the org behind it, and ships every change with the record your board or your auditor asks for.
100+ enterprise teams trust Laminar with the systems that run their business.
Where it breaks
Recruit, admit, enroll, in three systems. Education Cloud holds the applicant, the SIS holds the student, and the integration between them was built by a vendor whose contract ended. Every cycle, someone re-keys the deposits.
District data arrives in every format. Each district has its own export, the rostering integration handles most of them, and the exceptions are a spreadsheet. Renewals depend on data nobody trusts.
The donor record has four versions. Nonprofit Cloud, the payment processor, the events tool, and the email platform each hold a piece, and the reconciliation is a volunteer's weekend. Stewardship starts from a guess.
Grants move through stages nobody measured. Application, review, award, and reporting each have a flow, and the flows have grown exceptions per program. Where a grant stalls is a matter of opinion.
Membership, events, and certification never agree. Three systems, three counts of members, and an Experience Cloud portal that shows whichever one it read last. The renewal campaign goes out to the wrong list.
Procurement rules and a two-person team. Government Cloud was implemented by a contractor under a fixed scope, and the case-management flow has been patched since by whoever had access. The public records request is the first audit.
What changes
Same platform, same senior people, sized for a team that doesn't have a Center of Excellence. Nothing is rebuilt; the org you steward becomes the one you can account for.
From inquiry to enrolled, gift, or case closed.

Shift maps the lifecycle as it actually runs.
Every record's path, dwell time, and backward move, drawn from field history rather than a committee. The stall shows up with the days it costs, and the case for fixing it is a number, not a plea.
The platform
Shift reads the process, Profile reads the org, and Flow does the work. Ascent holds every change, from every engine, to the same rules.

Fellows
8,000+ vetted operators who've spent careers making enterprise systems hold, working inside your team from kickoff through go-live and after. They measure success by how little you need them next year.
Every figure here was measured with the customer and is footnoted to its source. Nothing is rounded up.
Security
Access, change, and deployment events are recorded as they happen, in append-only stores. Controls you can show an auditor, not describe to one.
Deny-by-default sandbox egress, short-lived tokens, and credentials brokered outside the box. The information-security mechanisms exist before the certificate does.
The agent works in an isolated sandbox on the work item's own branch, and a named person approves what ships. How the AI is governed, in writing.
Data stays where your org keeps it. Access resolves to named users, and retention is something Profile can show you rather than guess at.
Changes to systems holding PHI clear the same gates as every other change, with approvals and deployments recorded as they happen.
